Partial Oxidation (POX)

Partial oxidation is used in refineries for the conversion of residues (liquid, highly viscous hydrocarbons) essentially into hydrogen, CO, CO2 and water.

The products can be used as synthesis gas, fuel gas or feed for hydrogen recovery.

With tailored oxygen supply for POX we offer you the following benefits:

  • Cleaner and better reuse of residues
  • Broader economic base of the refinery
  • Higher flexibility through a wider range of products
  • Handling of refinery feed compositions within a wide range

We have a long tradition in designing and building these plants.

We offer:
  • Consulting services
  • Carrying out tests
  • Elaboration of a tailored problem solution
  • Project planning
  • Oxygen supply
