Liquid carbon dioxide (LCO2) is an ideal blowing agent for polymer foaming and an ideal cooling agent, e.g. for spot-cooling of injection molds. The Linde LCO2 compressor station offers a complete, one-stop solution for the supply of subcooled, bubble-free LCO2 at a pressure of up to 80 bar. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, such as the Linde DSD 500 metering device for extruders and spot-cooling capillaries – the output adjusts automatically and with high flexibility to a variable demand. Moreover, the installation is quite simple: the compressor station only requires an inexpensive standard tank and a pipe to the consumer.
